Louis Vuitton in Skokie, IL is hiring a Team Lead to lead in-store client experience and sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of the brand, delivering the Louis Vuitton client promise through exemplary service and personal conduct.
- Support the Store Director and Team Managers in mentoring, coaching and developing store sales staff to achieve individual and team targets.
- Drive client and business development by identifying client needs, cultivating relationships and pursuing opportunities for repeat and incremental sales.
- Manage floor operations and selling activity by overseeing client appointments, shop flow, visual presentation and standards of service.
- Provide day-to-day operational support including stock control, merchandising execution, loss prevention and administrative tasks.
- Optionally champion a specific product category — becoming the in-store subject matter expert and supporting related merchandising and sales initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years' experience in luxury retail or high-end sales, with demonstrated results against sales targets.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop retail teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and clienteling skills with a track record of building long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished, client-centric demeanour appropriate to luxury retail.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and peak trading periods.
Skills
Experience
At least 5 years of progressive experience in luxury retail or premium sales environments, ideally including prior supervisory or team lead responsibilities.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary qualification in business, fashion, retail or a related discipline preferred.
