Louis Vuitton seeks a Team Lead in Oak Brook, IL to lead boutique sales, client development and team coaching.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Director and Team Managers in daily store leadership, translating brand strategy into floor execution.
- Drive client development through proactive clienteling, personalised recommendations and by cultivating long-term relationships with high-net-worth customers.
- Lead selling activities and floor management to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Coach, mentor and develop sales associates to elevate selling skills, product knowledge and service standards.
- Oversee boutique operations including merchandising, inventory control and loss-prevention procedures.
- Optionally act as category champion with responsibility for assortment expertise, briefing and visual presentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of relevant retail experience, with demonstrable success in luxury or premium retail environments.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and driving business results at store or team level.
- Demonstrated leadership and people-development capabilities, including coaching and performance management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first orientation.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to flexible retail schedules, including evenings and weekends.
Skills
Experience
At least five years of progressive retail experience, preferably within luxury fashion or leather goods, including frontline selling, team leadership and a demonstrated ability to grow client relationships and meet sales objectives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in business, fashion or related fields preferred.
