Role & Responsibilities
- Perform RTW garment alterations and personalised tailoring to meet clients’ needs, preferences, body shapes and specifications.
- Conduct detailed client consultations including initial briefing, accurate measurements, fit checks and pinning to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Execute alterations and finishing work to the maison’s quality standards, ensuring garments are retail-ready and meet client expectations.
- Advise clients on suitable RTW alterations to enhance fit and contribute to in-store garment sales.
- Provide training and guidance to store staff on pinning, basic tailoring techniques and fit assessment to raise overall service quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in RTW sales/customer consultation, garment repair or in-store alterations (5–10 years preferred).
- Proven experience in garment client consultation and pinning is mandatory.
- Availability to work on-site in-store according to a 40-hour weekly store schedule.
- Prior experience with luxury brand RTW sales strongly preferred.
- Practical alteration or tailoring experience is an advantage; candidates seeking to develop into a tailoring specialist are encouraged to apply.
- No formal educational requirement; vocational training in tailoring or sewing is a plus.
