Louis Vuitton in Miami seeks a Tailor for luxury ready-to-wear alterations. Full-time, on-site; $35–$40/hr plus benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own all in-store tailoring and craftsmanship activities, ensuring Louis Vuitton standards of finish and quality.
  • Execute alterations, bespoke tailoring, repairs and garment modifications for ready-to-wear clients according to their specifications.
  • Conduct fittings, precise measurements and fit consultations; advise clients and Client Advisors on construction, fit and finish.
  • Interpret, replicate, construct and deconstruct complex garments while preserving design integrity and brand techniques.
  • Perform final quality control on altered garments and manage turnaround times to meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with Client Advisors to prioritize client needs and maintain confidential, client‑centric service.
  • Contribute to the transmission of maison craftsmanship through mentoring junior staff and maintaining the workroom environment.

Qualifications

  • Extensive ready-to-wear tailoring expertise with proven ability to alter and reconstruct complex garments.
  • Exceptional eye for detail, precision in hand and machine sewing, and strong finish techniques.
  • Proven capacity to interpret design intent and translate client requests into technical solutions.
  • Professional demeanour with a commitment to luxury service standards and discretion.

Experience
