Role & Responsibilities
- Perform precise alterations, fittings, repairs and custom tailoring on ready-to-wear garments to achieve the client’s desired fit and finish.
- Interpret, replicate, construct and deconstruct complex garments while preserving the maison’s construction standards and aesthetic.
- Lead in-store tailoring operations, managing workflow, equipment maintenance and the inventory of fabrics, linings and notions.
- Collaborate closely with Client Advisors to advise clients on fit, styling and bespoke solutions during consultations and fittings.
- Ensure rigorous quality control and finishing on every garment prior to client delivery, upholding Louis Vuitton’s standards of excellence.
- Contribute to the transmission of craft knowledge by mentoring junior tailors or seamstresses and documenting bespoke techniques when required.
Qualifications
- Extensive ready-to-wear tailoring experience with a demonstrable portfolio of alterations, fittings and bespoke work.
- Minimum 5 years of professional tailoring experience, preferably within luxury retail, atelier or couture environments.
- Exceptional eye for detail, precision sewing and hand-finishing skills; ability to interpret complex patterns and garment constructions.
- Professional demeanour with strong client-facing skills and the ability to collaborate with sales and client services teams.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional tailoring experience, with a background in ready-to-wear alterations, bespoke fittings and garment construction — preferably in luxury retail, atelier or couture settings.
Education
