Louis Vuitton seeks a Sustainability Projects Assistant (Apprenticeship) in Paris to support traceability, environmental labelling and sustainability reporting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage traceability data across the value chain for leather, textiles, components and embellishments: collect and follow up information with material suppliers and atelier partners.
  • Administer certifications and transaction certificates; enter and validate traceability data in PLM Centric and related internal systems.
  • Support suppliers to align material qualities with the Maison’s RSE charter and provide IT support for supplier access during reporting campaigns.
  • Prepare, analyse and maintain a reliable database for the French Environmental Labelling scope; prepare product data for publication on the Ecobalyse platform.
  • Coordinate cross-BU and cross-Maison data collection to satisfy regulatory and group requirements; liaise with IT to reconcile data and calculate variances for publication.
  • Execute LVMH reporting campaign activities (typically Sept–Nov): exploit campaign data, declare information on RRM, control data quality (volumes, units, certifications, fibres, addresses) and follow up with suppliers and Purchasing.
  • Monitor regulatory developments affecting chemical and product standards (France/China/US/EU) and flag impacts on textile and leather activities (e.g., REACH, Proposition 65).
  • Produce KPIs and end-of-campaign reporting for AGEC / buying sessions and propose action plans to support the responsible purchasing strategy.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in Master 1 or Master 2 (textiles, materials science, environmental science or sustainable development) at the time of the apprenticeship.
  • High level of rigour, organisation and ability to manage multiple projects and milestones simultaneously.
  • Strong interest in environmental and sustainability topics applied to product life cycles.
  • Proven ability to handle and validate data (Excel and internal tools / ERP).
  • Professional values aligned with a luxury Maison and the LVMH Group.

Experience

Entry-level — suitable for a Master’s student (M1 or M2) with initial exposure to materials, sustainability or data handling; no prior senior professional experience required.

Master’s degree in progress (Master 1 or Master 2) in textiles, materials science, environmental science, sustainable development or equivalent.
