Louis Vuitton Supply Chain Specialist in Venice, Italy — manage procurement and supplier planning for luxury footwear manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage MRP systems and coordinate procurement of raw materials and semi-finished goods
- Develop and maintain supplier planning schedules across all manufacturing partners and ateliers, accounting for production capacity and production requirements
- Monitor technical development progress and coordinate development milestones in collaboration with project managers to ensure timely material availability for production
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or production, preferably within footwear manufacturing
- Advanced proficiency with business software, particularly Excel and PLM systems
- Proficiency in French and/or English
- Demonstrated negotiation capabilities
- Ability to interface effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in purchasing, procurement, or production environments, preferably within the footwear or luxury manufacturing sector.
Education
Degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
