Louis Vuitton Supply Chain Specialist in Venice, Italy – manage procurement and supplier planning for luxury footwear production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage MRP systems and procurement of raw materials and semi-finished goods
- Coordinate supplier planning across all manufacturing partners and ateliers, accounting for production capacity and scheduling requirements
- Oversee technical development processes by establishing development milestones in coordination with project leads to ensure timely material supply for production
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to optimize supply chain operations
- Monitor supplier performance and negotiate agreements to meet production timelines
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or production management, preferably in footwear manufacturing
- Advanced proficiency with business software, particularly Excel and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
- Fluent in French and/or English
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
