Louis Vuitton Supply Chain Procurement internship in Cergy, France. 6-month role managing leather goods component supplier consolidation and transfer operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain the new procurement strategy for Client Care Services components, consolidating supplier base from 70+ to 3 key partners
  • Conduct and pilot analyses of the current leather goods component portfolio managed by Client Care Services
  • Monitor component families scheduled for transfer and relay critical information to internal and external stakeholders according to established protocols
  • Identify and recommend optimal new suppliers based on operational constraints and partner industrial capabilities
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of activity transfers across supplier transitions
  • Track and manage transfer timelines between legacy and new suppliers, adapting schedules to accommodate capacity and resource constraints
  • Monitor transfer orders to guarantee service continuity, optimised inventory levels, and zero customer impact
  • Track and report on transfer and performance metrics; prepare and facilitate performance reviews with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support operational research initiatives for the Care Service programme
  • Balance available resources against production and spare parts design requirements
  • Collaborate with local teams to develop innovative forecasting methodologies, including internal AI tools, for establishing demand signals and placing orders for spare parts without historical data

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a final-year engineering school or business school programme with specialisation in Supply Chain management
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Strong attention to environmental and corporate sustainability objectives
