Louis Vuitton seeks a Supply Chain Operations Assistant Manager (temporary) in Seoul to manage inbound logistics, label work and staff sale operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound transportation and end-to-end delivery of perfume, beauty and chocolate shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Maintain accurate stock records in SAP and Micros, monitor movement statuses (including KR11 test items) and ensure inventory integrity.
  • Track ETAs and communicate stock status updates to commercial and compliance stakeholders.
  • Administer non-merchandise import flows (uniforms, PR parcels, VM props, gifts) and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely receipt.
  • Perform label program administration: weekly updates to composition data, create label artwork for new products, resolve store label issues and distribute price labels for cosmetics.
  • Calculate and announce insurance rates; update split rules for KDOM; submit monthly import data to Finance.
  • Prepare and process data submissions and annual payments for waste and recycling charges; support duty & VAT payment processes for chocolates.
  • Plan and execute staff sale operations (on-site and online): inventory selection, storage, allocation, pricing, markdowns and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, retail, HR, finance and logistics teams to drive cross-functional alignment, system readiness and continuous process improvements.
  • Provide vendor communication, support vendor payments and deliver operational reporting and insights for optimisation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in inbound logistics; retail experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven knowledge of import procedures, customs coordination and international freight processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP and experience with Micros system stock management.
  • Professional command of English (written and spoken).
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Open-minded, adaptable and a fast learner with a track record of operational delivery.
