Louis Vuitton seeks a Style Coordinator in Paris to manage sampling and product development for leather goods collections. Full-time, on-site position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and pilot upstream sampling strategy aligned with style, quality, margin, timeline, and industrial feasibility objectives
- Supervise Style Coordinators, allocating workload and supporting professional development
- Collaborate with Design, project managers, and sampling sites to deliver showroom-ready products conforming to brief and Louis Vuitton standards
- Ensure timely delivery of samples, duplications, and transfers to production sites
- Coordinate project and product scoping in alignment with Design on timeline, prioritization, and arbitration
- Clarify and distribute technical data to samplers, sites, and project stakeholders
- Guarantee achievement of project and product objectives: quality, margin, style, Time To Market, feasibility, and Go Style validation
- Anticipate quality, cost, schedule, and feasibility risks; propose action plans and optimization solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline upstream processes
- Develop re-use and circular creativity approaches
- Support the growth of sampling departments and alternatives to external design bureaus or service providers
- Establish and evolve sampling competency mapping aligned with collection needs
- Brief finished goods and component production sites on project and technical data: plans, nomenclatures, production routes
- Guarantee duplicate delivery within schedule and at expected aesthetic standards
- Present and lead cost analyses and product quality risk assessments
- Launch quality tests, validate Go Style, and distribute associated reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent from engineering school, business school, or university
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product development roles
- Deep product sensibility, ideally in leather goods
- Knowledge of luxury market dynamics
- Recognized for strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities across diverse stakeholder groups
- Proactive mindset with ability to identify improvements and best practice innovations
- Rigorous and autonomous work approach
- Comfortable in demanding environments with appetite for challenging objectives
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in product development roles, with demonstrated experience managing sampling processes, upstream design coordination, and cross-functional team collaboration in the fashion or luxury goods sector.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school, or equivalent institution.
