Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and pilot upstream sampling strategy, aligning style, quality, margin, timeline, and industrial feasibility objectives
  • Oversee Style Coordinators through workload allocation, mentorship, and professional development
  • Collaborate with Design, project leads, and sampling centers to present showroom-ready products conforming to brief and LV standards
  • Ensure delivery of samples, duplicates, and production transfers to manufacturing sites
  • Align project and product requirements with Design on planning, prototype prioritization, and project arbitration
  • Clarify and disseminate technical data to sampling technicians, production sites, and project stakeholders
  • Guarantee achievement of project and product objectives: quality, margin, style, Time To Market, feasibility, and Go Style validation
  • Anticipate quality, cost, timeline, and feasibility risks while proposing mitigation and optimization plans
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and enhance pre-production processes
  • Develop circular economy and re-use approaches within product development
  • Support the expansion of sampling centers and internal alternatives to external bureaus and contractors
  • Establish and evolve the sampling competency matrix aligned with collection requirements
  • Brief finished goods and component production sites on project and technical data: plans, nomenclatures, specifications
  • Guarantee timely delivery of duplicates at expected aesthetic levels
  • Present and facilitate costing and product quality risk analyses
  • Launch quality tests, validate Go Style, and communicate associated reports

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school, or university, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product development roles
  • Proven product sensitivity, preferably in leather goods
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the luxury goods market
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Rigorous attention to detail with strong autonomy
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Conversational Italian proficiency
