Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and accurately cost quotations for special-order requests, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of materials and labour.
  • Coordinate end-to-end prototype development: monitor design-to-validation phases, create master patterns and detailed bills of materials.
  • Verify availability and conformity of all raw materials required for mock-ups, including exotic leathers and specialized textiles.
  • Propose and evaluate design or material alternatives in collaboration with creation, marketing and production stakeholders.
  • Organize and supervise technical feasibility tests (material complexing, sub-assembly trials) and follow laboratory test programmes.
  • Conduct upstream risk analyses and recommend corrective actions to mitigate production or quality issues.
  • Manage logistics and deliveries of materials to pattern makers and ateliers in France and Italy to ensure lead-time compliance.
  • Perform administrative and budgetary follow-up: invoice tracking, document compliance, capacity planning and cost control for collections.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a business school, engineering school, or an academic programme linked to fashion, luxury or project management.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong organisational discipline, rigorous attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate with creative teams, suppliers and production partners.
