Louis Vuitton (Fiesso d'Artico / Venice) seeks a Shoes Supply Chain Manager to lead sneakers planning, MRP and supplier coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy the end-to-end supply chain strategy for the sneakers/shoes category, aligning industrial capacity with commercial targets.
  • Lead MRP management and coordinate procurement of raw materials and semi-finished components to guarantee production timelines.
  • Develop, implement and sustain a procurement planning system to secure on-time production launches and optimise lead times.
  • Produce and manage short- and long-term forecasts to inform production planning objectives and capacity decisions.
  • Coordinate supplier planning across all manufacturers/ateliers, integrating their production capacities into master plans.
  • Create and maintain reverse (retro) planning to track material arrival dates and validate on-time readiness for production.
  • Monitor technical developments to ensure readiness for shipment launches and adherence to launch schedules.
  • Analyse supply chain KPIs and deliver regular reports and recommendations to site and Paris management.
  • Negotiate and maintain commercial relationships with suppliers; monitor vendor performance for quality and delivery compliance.
  • Anticipate forecast changes and their impacts on the supply chain, proposing mitigation actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (production, quality, sourcing, commercial) to build coordinated growth plans.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase accuracy, efficiency and industrial performance.
  • Maintain ongoing liaison with the Paris headquarters to align local operations with global standards.
  • Manage, coach and coordinate the local supply chain team.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in economics, engineering, industrial management, supply chain or a related scientific/economic discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in supply chain roles, with substantial exposure to fashion and/or footwear manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in MRP-driven environments, procurement and production planning for assembled/leather goods.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with experience coordinating external manufacturers or ateliers.
  • Strong negotiation skills and supplier management experience.
  • Excellent communication and synthesis skills; ability to work to objectives and across international stakeholders.
  • Availability for business travel.
  • Working knowledge of French and/or English (both languages valued).

Experience
