Louis Vuitton is hiring a Shoe Structure & Sole Manufacturing Technician in Venice, Italy—oversee luxury sneaker industrialization and component validation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the development and production validation phases, liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accurate execution of work
  • Create and manage technical industrialization specifications for shoe structure components
  • Create and monitor purchase orders for components required during the industrial development phase
  • Collaborate with industrial pattern-making teams to obtain fit-test approvals and assess feasibility
  • Perform back-office activities related to industrialization processes, including system entries and production confirmations
  • Maintain development timelines and planned deadlines
  • Manage the master component validation process, coordinating with external suppliers and team members
  • Inspect initial production batches delivered by manufacturers for quality verification

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the luxury sportswear and sneaker footwear sector
  • In-depth knowledge of soles, shoe foundations, and mold specifications
