Louis Vuitton is hiring a Shoe Structure & Sole Manufacturing Technician in Venice, Italy—oversee luxury sneaker industrialization and component validation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the development and production validation phases, liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accurate execution of work
- Create and manage technical industrialization specifications for shoe structure components
- Create and monitor purchase orders for components required during the industrial development phase
- Collaborate with industrial pattern-making teams to obtain fit-test approvals and assess feasibility
- Perform back-office activities related to industrialization processes, including system entries and production confirmations
- Maintain development timelines and planned deadlines
- Manage the master component validation process, coordinating with external suppliers and team members
- Inspect initial production batches delivered by manufacturers for quality verification
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the luxury sportswear and sneaker footwear sector
- In-depth knowledge of soles, shoe foundations, and mold specifications
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and communication capabilities
