Senior Specialist, Supply Chain at Louis Vuitton in Hong Kong—6-month contract role managing inventory distribution and retail operations across Asia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as business partner for North Asia stores, orchestrating inventory distribution for Ready-to-Wear, Shoes, and Watches & Jewelry categories
- Manage product categories in collaboration with Zone Merchandising and Central Supply Chain teams, developing and maintaining robust distribution processes
- Optimize product availability by defining and maintaining appropriate stock targets for each store to balance inventory levels and avoid overstock and understock situations
- Coordinate inventory distribution flows across all product types (seasonal, carry-over, permanent) and respond to special store requests in a timely manner
- Determine and execute necessary reverse logistics, including rebalancing, overstock, and obsolete product flows
- Partner with stores, merchandising, and market teams to support business turnover targets through proactive planning and store request assessment
- Oversee end-of-life and obsolete product management; produce reports on product category performance
- Collaborate with logistics teams to address transportation issues and constraints; manage warehouse workload capacity and arbitrate distribution priorities
- Support successful preparation and logistics for store openings, pop-ups, and events in coordination with retail, visual merchandising, and warehouse teams
- Build collaborative relationships with market teams to anticipate store events and seasonalities; proactively share stock information and prioritization guidelines
- Conduct regular store visits to understand operational context, gather feedback, and strengthen relationships with store teams
- Participate in supply chain and logistics process optimization and automation projects to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- University degree in systems, engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in retail or supply chain environments
- Proficiency with Excel, Access, and internal data management systems (MyPR, MySR, SAP, Power BI); SAP and I2 experience is advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively across functional areas and organizational levels
- Excellent quantitative analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Retail-oriented mindset with genuine interest in store operations and commitment to partnering with market, warehouse, and logistics teams

Education
