Louis Vuitton — Senior Sales Audit Analyst in New York: lead sales reconciliations, audits and financial controls for the Americas.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile freestanding and lease department store accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Match sales transactions to payments received and investigate tender variances, escalating technical issues to IT via ticketing.
- Execute monthly close procedures, post journal entries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations and manage SAP account aging and clearing for accounts receivable.
- Apply monthly intercompany payments in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct detailed receivable, fee and accrual analyses to identify trends and variances.
- Invoice internal and external customers accurately and process payment applications.
- Provide organised documentation and direct support for internal and external financial audits.
- Serve on task force teams addressing deposits, gift cards and store credit issues and file evidence for chargeback claims.
- Generate ad hoc reports and support special projects to strengthen financial controls and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience; retail or multinational experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced quantitative and analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet month-end deadlines, manage competing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; strong organisational agility and problem-solving capability.

Minimum 5 years in accounting or finance roles with demonstrated experience in monthly close, general ledger reconciliations, accounts receivable management and audit support; prior exposure to retail finance or multinational reporting is preferred.
