Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy Men's Ready-to-Wear retail strategy in alignment with Maison ambitions, sustainable growth drivers, and menswear positioning, balancing business stability with innovation and desirability
  • Ensure category performance accountability across revenue, sell-through, rotation, profitability, productivity, and desirability metrics
  • Build and execute a clear business roadmap with strategic arbitrages on purchasing, assortment clustering, sizing, and market allocation decisions informed by performance analytics
  • Pilot retail inputs to Collection Merchandising team: editorials, offer architecture, pricing, sizing, new items, and product innovations, ensuring coherent and market-responsive collections
  • Coordinate 360-degree category orchestration across Supply Chain, Production, Business Planning, Sales Planning, Communications, Visual Merchandising, and Digital teams
  • Lead zones with strategic influence, ensuring regional ownership and execution alignment while balancing global house priorities with local market opportunities
  • Direct showroom presentations and go-to-market initiatives, guaranteeing alignment between central strategy, product narrative, and zone buying decisions
  • Manage two Senior Retail Merchandisers, fostering autonomy, performance standards, and professional development while acting as cross-functional ecosystem leader

Qualifications

  • Degree from a business school, university, or equivalent institution
  • Minimum 10 years of merchandising experience, ideally spanning both central and field/market-facing roles
  • Strong product knowledge of men's ready-to-wear, with demonstrated sensibility for silhouette, design, and fashion trends
  • Proven strategic vision combined with results-driven culture and demonstrated ability to pilot a category across all dimensions: offer, business performance, execution, and cross-functional influence
  • Exceptional analytical and synthesis skills with rigorous strategic thinking
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong comfort in performance analytics; Power BI experience is valued
