Louis Vuitton seeks Senior Project Manager for high jewelry industrial development in Paris. Lead product innovation and cross-functional teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead industrial development projects from brief analysis through production launch, defining objectives, timelines, and quality parameters across design, engineering, and manufacturing phases
  • Pilot dual-sourcing initiatives by analyzing product portfolios, negotiating supplier agreements, and optimizing pricing, quality, capacity, and lead times while documenting performance metrics
  • Oversee make-to-order and special commission projects, ensuring rapid turnaround and flexibility through close coordination with supply chain and merchandising teams
  • Animate cross-functional project teams comprising marketing, design, technical office, quality, gemstone services, and manufacturing workshops to achieve performance targets
  • Maintain PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) data systems and technical documentation, including CAD files, 3D models, resin prototypes, and product specifications
  • Monitor project timelines, development budgets, and performance indicators (KPIs); conduct risk management and arbitrate decisions within the project team
  • Prepare and present updates to project governance forums including development meetings, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and steering committees

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (mechanical engineering, quality engineering, or equivalent discipline) or demonstrated equivalent expertise
  • Minimum 5–10 years of product project management experience in luxury goods, high jewelry, or comparable precision manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency in PLM systems and technical project management software
  • Strong grasp of mechanical precision, quality assurance protocols, and industrialization best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities
