Role & Responsibilities
- Design, standardize and optimise end-to-end procurement processes to ensure efficiency, transparency and compliance across retail projects.
- Act as primary liaison between the procurement function and the Vice President, reporting on project progress, risks and strategic opportunities.
- Lead tendering processes for a range of procurement projects: prepare RFPs, manage bids, conduct evaluations and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Own procurement for store windows, events and store refits — manage sourcing of materials, equipment and services to deliver projects on time, on budget and to specification.
- Select, implement and manage P2P (procure-to-pay) systems: lead vendor selection, coordinate rollout, optimise workflows and ensure day-to-day governance.
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships, perform supplier performance evaluations and expand the supplier base with high-quality partners.
- Drive cost-control initiatives and procurement value improvement through market intelligence, competitive sourcing and commercial levers.
- Lead, coach and develop the procurement team to elevate capability and achieve departmental objectives.
- Analyse procurement data and financial metrics to inform decision-making and identify commercial opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of procurement experience in the retail sector, with demonstrable leadership of procurement teams.
- Proven track record of end-to-end P2P system selection and successful implementation.
- Extensive experience managing procurement for store fit-outs, visual merchandising installations and retail engineering projects.
- Strong commercial acumen with solid financial analysis skills for cost-benefit and supplier performance evaluation.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and project management capabilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a fast‑paced, retail-driven environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and office software; comfortable with process documentation and change management.

Experience
At least 10 years of progressively responsible procurement experience within large-scale retail operations, including direct ownership of P2P implementations and store refit or visual merchandising procurement.
Education
Bachelor's degree or above in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
