Louis Vuitton Senior Industrial Jewellery Development Project Manager
Louis Vuitton in Paris seeks a Senior Industrial Jewellery Development Project Manager — on-site role leading industrialisation, sourcing and PLM governance.
Overview

The brand combines rigorous craftsmanship with global creative direction and operates integrated design, production and retail teams to deliver couture-level products and client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end industrial development of jewellery animations, new products and redesigns from drawing analysis and technical specification through CAD, prototyping, pre-series validation and launch quantities.
- Define project objectives (quality, cost, timing) and translate them into detailed development and industrialisation schedules; select and coordinate resources to meet targets and manage contingencies.
- Drive double-sourcing initiatives: analyse product portfolio, propose sourcing strategies, manage supplier selection and first production runs, and quantify gains in price, capacity and quality.
- Manage make-to-order and special-order projects in close liaison with Supply Chain and Merchandising to ensure short lead times, flexibility and accurate tracking.
- Animate and coordinate the cross-functional project team (Marketing, Design, Engineering, Quality, Service Stones, Supply Chain, Finance and manufacturing ateliers) and chair project governance instances (development reviews, PDP, COPIL).
- Maintain and control technical and industrial data in PLM; produce and update technical dossiers, 3D files and resin prototypes; track budgets, development orders and project retroplannings.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, produce regular reporting and lead continuous improvement and transversal projects (re‑design, RJC compliance, prototype follow-up).
Qualifications
- Higher education in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Quality Engineering (Bachelor's or Master’s level).
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in product development or industrial project management (5–10 years preferred), ideally within jewellery, watches, or a comparable fine‑goods manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical comprehension of jewellery manufacturing processes, CAD/CAM (CAO), prototyping and industrialisation methods.
- Demonstrated ability to manage suppliers, run RFPs, and implement double‑sourcing strategies.
