Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead development projects for animations, new products, and redesigns by analyzing technical specifications and coordinating resources to meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives
  • Define and execute project planning across development, industrialization, and production phases; manage risks and contingencies
  • Manage requests for proposals and budgeting; track development phases from CAD through prototyping to preseries and launch quantities
  • Analyze product portfolio and drive dual-sourcing initiatives; optimize pricing, quality, volumes, and lead times for dual-sourced products
  • Pilot made-to-order and special order projects; maintain close alignment with Supply Chain and Merchandising teams
  • Maintain and update product data in PLM systems and technical documentation; establish systematic tracking and performance measurement
  • Lead and coordinate project teams across internal departments (Marketing, Design, Technical Studies, Quality, Gems Services, Supply Chain) and external manufacturing ateliers
  • Define priorities and escalate decisions through dedicated review meetings (development reviews, PDP, COPIL); establish and track action plans
  • Capture, validate, and maintain product information in industrial database systems; prepare technical specifications and consolidate 3D files
  • Track project retroplanning, development orders, and budgets; generate performance indicators and KPIs

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in mechanical engineering, quality engineering, or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of product development and project management experience, preferably in luxury jewelry or high-end manufacturing
  • Strong methodological and organizational skills with attention to technical precision
  • Deep product sensibility and demonstrated passion for high jewelry
  • Proven ability to adapt and demonstrate agility in complex environments
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and team leadership capabilities
  • Strong diplomatic skills and ability to facilitate consensus among stakeholders
