Louis Vuitton seeks Senior HSE & General Services Manager in Venice. Lead integrated health, safety, environment, and facilities management across luxury manufacturing operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated HSE policies and procedures in compliance with D. Lgs. 81/08, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and establish proportionate safety measures for manufacturing environments
- Coordinate and supervise local HSE management teams across all production sites
- Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of company real estate, infrastructure, and internal/external installations
- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance programs for company buildings and civil engineering systems
- Manage public tender specifications for technical aspects; oversee contract execution through technical and economic final inspection
- Design and oversee new construction projects, renovations, and interior design initiatives aligned with organizational restructuring and ergonomic innovation
- Develop and implement new plant and infrastructure solutions while improving existing systems
- Conduct continuous monitoring and inspection of workplace health and safety conditions
- Ensure corrective action implementation when policy deviations or non-conformities are identified
- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and certification bodies
- Develop and deliver continuous employee training on safe practices and environmental procedures
- Serve as technical consultant to senior management on HSE performance optimization and strategic recommendations
- Establish and oversee emergency response protocols for safety and environmental incidents
- Coordinate execution of group-level HSE and general services initiatives across all facilities
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for HSE/general services metrics and report progress to executive leadership
- Communicate HSE standards and best practices effectively across all organizational levels
Qualifications
- Master's degree in scientific disciplines (Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in manufacturing environments with HSE responsibility
- In-depth knowledge of Italian occupational health and safety legislation (D. Lgs. 81/08)
- Proficiency with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
- Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis and evaluation methodologies
- Strong understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE) management and safety procedures
- Familiarity with manufacturing and production processes in luxury goods context
- Knowledge of facility management, infrastructure maintenance, and civil engineering principles
- Proficiency with specialized HSE software and management tools

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in manufacturing contexts with direct responsibility for health, safety, and environmental management systems.
Education
Master's degree in scientific disciplines (Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or equivalent field).
