Louis Vuitton seeks a Senior HSE & Facilities Manager in Venice to lead HSE, compliance and facilities across manufacturing sites.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, implement and maintain the integrated Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management system in compliance with applicable laws and standards (e.g., D. Lgs. 81/08, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Lead and coordinate local HSE Managers to ensure consistent application of group initiatives, best practices and regulatory compliance across sites.
  • Oversee general services and facilities (SGX): manage, maintain and optimise the real-estate portfolio, infrastructure and plant systems, including maintenance planning and contractor supervision.
  • Prepare technical specifications and tender documents, manage contractors and supervise works through to technical and economic acceptance (collaudo).
  • Conduct continuous monitoring and control activities (inspections, audits, KPI reporting) and drive corrective actions to remediate non-conformities.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs and provide technical advisory to senior management on HSE strategy and risk mitigation.
  • Design and implement emergency response plans and coordinate incident management to minimise impact on people and environment.
  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for HSE and facilities performance and report periodically to senior leadership.
  • Propose and lead projects for new construction, refurbishment and ergonomic work-space innovation, including plant and infrastructural design improvements.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a scientific, engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in manufacturing environments with responsibility for HSE and/or facilities.
  • Deep knowledge of national HSE legislation (D. Lgs. 81/08) and international management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
  • Proven experience drafting technical tender specifications, managing contractors and delivering construction/refurbishment projects.
  • Strong competence in risk assessment, PPE management (DPI), POS procedures and audit methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence at all levels.
  • Availability for frequent travel and flexibility to operate across multiple sites.
  • Proficient English (B2); French is a plus.
