Louis Vuitton seeks a Senior HSE & General Services Manager in Venice, Italy. Lead integrated health, safety, environment and facilities management with €32k+ annual salary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated HSE and workplace services policies aligned with all applicable regulations (D. Lgs. 81/2008, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and luxury industry standards, conducting comprehensive risk assessments and establishing appropriate safety measures
- Coordinate the activities and performance of local HSE and General Services teams, ensuring consistent implementation of group-level initiatives and dissemination of best practices across all company sites
- Manage real estate, infrastructure, and facilities portfolios, overseeing the maintenance, optimization, and strategic development of internal and external company properties and technical systems
- Oversee contract management for construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects, including tender specifications, work direction, and quality assurance through project completion and technical validation
- Develop conceptual designs and project specifications for new construction, facility renovations, ergonomic improvements, and innovative workspace solutions that support organizational change initiatives
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for HSE and facilities performance, delivering regular progress reports to senior leadership and identifying areas for improvement
- Conduct continuous monitoring of workplace health and safety conditions, ensuring adherence to established policies and implementing corrective actions when non-conformance is identified
- Ensure organizational compliance with all regulatory authorities and certification bodies, managing relationships with external stakeholders and overseeing internal and external audit processes
- Design and deliver comprehensive HSE and environmental training programmes for employees at all levels, serving as a technical advisor and strategic consultant to senior management
- Coordinate emergency response protocols and crisis management procedures, ensuring rapid and effective response to safety and environmental incidents while minimizing risk to personnel and the environment
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and engagement across the organization at all levels, building a positive safety and environmental culture through leadership and influence
Qualifications
- Master's degree in scientific disciplines (chemistry, engineering, environmental science, or related field)
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in manufacturing or industrial environments with responsibility for HSE and/or facilities management
- In-depth knowledge of Italian and international HSE legislation, workplace safety regulations, and environmental management frameworks
- Demonstrated expertise in management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and risk assessment methodologies
- Proficiency with specialized HSE software tools and digital platforms
- Strong knowledge of production processes and manufacturing operations
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business IT applications
- English language competency at B2 level or equivalent; French language skills are advantageous

Experience
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, with demonstrated responsibility for health, safety, environment, and/or facilities management. The candidate should have a proven track record of developing and implementing HSE management systems, conducting risk assessments, managing compliance audits, and leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple operational sites.
Education
Master's degree in scientific disciplines (chemistry, engineering, environmental science, or related quantitative field).
