Louis Vuitton is seeking a Senior Events Manager to define and deliver the international event strategy for gérald genta and DANIEL ROTH, overseeing launches, brand activations, VIP experiences and international events from concept to execution. The role is full-time on a permanent contract, based in Meyrin with hybrid working, and requires a strong watchmaking affinity, luxury events expertise and fluent English and French.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deploy the international event strategy for both Maisons in direct collaboration with Marketing and Commercial leadership.
- Lead major events, including product launches, brand activations, VIP experiences and international highlights.
- Oversee projects from concept through on-site execution.
- Organize event operations, including venues, logistics, catering, technical setup, staffing and materials.
- Coordinate guest journeys, including invitations, registrations, reception, protocol and on-site management.
- Ensure smooth execution in line with the Maisons’ standards.
- Manage and coordinate event suppliers and partners.
- Lead event budgets, including resource allocation, cost tracking, invoices and reporting.
- Negotiate collaboration terms while meeting quality and budget objectives.
- Ensure visual consistency and expression of the Maisons across event touchpoints in direct collaboration with the Communications team.
- Monitor performance, prepare post-event reviews and recommend future activations.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, press, commercial teams and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and accessibility requirements according to local contexts.
- Contribute to the development of event processes and standards in an evolving environment.
Qualifications
- A strong affinity with watchmaking is essential.
- At least 5 years of experience; the profile specifies at least 7 years in events within luxury, watchmaking or a premium environment.
- Confirmed experience managing international event projects from strategy through execution.
- Strong adaptability, excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent command of event production, logistics and supplier coordination.
- Strong sensitivity to brand image, detail, client experience and brand consistency.
- Demonstrated initiative, prioritization, autonomy and foresight.
- Rigorous, organized and responsive in demanding environments.
- Fluent English and French are essential.
- Available to travel internationally.
