Role & Responsibilities

• Lead supplier portfolio engagement and compliance activities, serving as primary Louis Vuitton contact for supplier sales teams and organizing monthly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews with strategic partners
• Develop and update comprehensive supplier information files covering production tools, facilities, revenue, client base, and expansion projects; track Louis Vuitton penetration rates and supplier dependency levels
• Propose supplier reallocation and new panel openings; manage panel exits and challenge project teams on procurement compliance, consultation processes, and bid attributions
• Establish legal supplier documentation frameworks (Master Agreements, NDAs, Codes of Conduct, CPUs, conflict minerals reporting) and ensure regular updates and distribution
• Coordinate capacity audits, organize compliance assessments, and report on adherence to Louis Vuitton and LVMH Watches & Jewelry branch standards for tier-1, tier-2, and deeper supply chain tiers
• Oversee supplier panel compliance including social and environmental audits, preferential origin certifications, conflict minerals attestations, LVMH due diligence, Know Your Customer protocols, and jewelry reference audits for stone traceability
• Maintain technology and innovation surveillance across supplier base; champion continuous improvement initiatives
• Guarantee accuracy of product pricing information in systems and with marketing and finance teams; participate in new product price consultations and finalization
• Conduct regular competitive benchmarking and re-consultation of top-market offerings; validate invoiced prices align with negotiated rates and process billing variances
• Propose optimization projects including supplier transfers, value engineering, and minimum order quantity reductions
• Organize annual standard price reviews for N+1 budget; negotiate with suppliers and report internal impacts while ensuring system information accessibility
• Collaborate on supplier strategy development and deployment; work with project managers on consultation panels and bid allocations
• Negotiate capacity and lead times with suppliers aligned to production requirements; validate actual capacity meets negotiated levels and implement corrective action plans
• Participate in monthly Production & Demand Planning (PDP) reviews and support supply chain load-balancing as needed
• Prepare capacity review meetings with clear visibility into supplier KPIs, delays, root causes, action plans, and strategy execution
• Organize and facilitate annual capacity reviews and supplier commitment meetings; rework bid allocations and participate in negotiations
• Propose dual-sourcing initiatives to balance and de-risk supplier portfolios
• Deploy Business Continuity Planning (BCP) methodologies with suppliers to secure production continuity
• Lead Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) reviews in collaboration with supply chain teams
• Implement and maintain regular financial advances to tier-2 suppliers including chain components, kits, and gemstones

Qualifications

• Higher education qualification such as a business school degree or equivalent university diploma
• 5–10 years of procurement or buying experience, ideally within luxury goods, jewelry manufacturing, or similar complex supply chain environments
• Strong analytical and methodical approach with attention to precision and technical comprehension
• Deep product knowledge and demonstrated passion for the jewelry industry
• Adaptability and agility in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Proven ability to work collaboratively, coordinate cross-functional teams, and influence stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with consistent focus on continuous improvement and value creation

Skills

Experience

Minimum 5 years of procurement or buying experience, preferably in luxury goods, jewelry manufacturing, or complex supply chain environments with exposure to multi-tier supplier management, compliance frameworks, and production capacity planning.

Education
