Louis Vuitton seeks a Retail Performance Director in New York. Lead retail analytics, store performance, and operations optimization for USD $170,000–$215,000 annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for retail analytics, providing a 360-degree view across all organizational levels with actionable plan proposals aligned to brand priorities
- Monitor sales performance, retail KPIs, non-selling activities, team structures, and FTE levels to identify solutions for driving business performance
- Support RVP/Country Manager in establishing annual retail goals and objectives; monitor and drive progress; set bonus targets; and assist Store and Team Managers in goal-setting through company tools
- Develop and manage BI tools to streamline reporting processes for regions and stores
- Manage controllables budget in partnership with finance, establishing store/region/country budgets and monitoring actuals with reallocation as necessary
- Compile and communicate monthly competition database to executive leadership
- Partner with HR and finance on bonus schemes and commission structures
- Monitor and drive optimal scheduling across all regions utilizing workforce management tools and traffic analysis
- Lead FTE planning sessions with HR and RVP/Country Manager to optimize productivity and enhance client experience
- Collaborate with the Retail Learning community to ensure stores are equipped with comprehensive business knowledge and continuous client experience elevation
- Lead and inspire the Retail Director community through individualized store approaches to drive business performance and implement action plans
- Collaborate with Regional Operations Directors on back-of-house efficiency and retail operations improvements
- Lead and plan in-store activities to deliver client service excellence with support from regional and corporate teams
- Oversee UKG Scheduling Tool rollout, updates, training, and resource management
- Manage uniform and hot stamp procurement, distribution, and budgeting for the region; monitor and reallocate as needed
- Work with corporate partners on designing, piloting, and rolling out innovative retail tools
- Drive filtration efforts to ensure streamlined communications and processes
- Manage new retail task processes including peak season operations and system implementations
- Organize projects and execute business initiatives such as store incentives and experiential programs
- Support store projects including new locations, relocations, and renovations by collaborating with store planning, merchandising, and finance on sales forecasts and retail requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of retail operations, performance management, or business analytics experience
- Demonstrated expertise in retail analytics and performance metrics
- Proven experience in workforce management and FTE optimization
- Strong knowledge of retail KPIs and financial planning
- Experience developing and implementing BI tools and reporting systems
- Track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change
- Ability to influence senior leadership and manage stakeholder relationships across multiple organizational levels
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive retail operations, performance management, business analytics, or related experience in a luxury goods or multi-store retail environment. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of successfully implementing performance improvements, managing large-scale projects, and leading teams across multiple locations. Prior experience with retail scheduling tools, workforce planning, and business intelligence platforms is highly advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, operations management, data science, or a related field. MBA or advanced certification in business analytics, operations, or retail management is preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 170,000 to USD 215,000 per annum.
