Louis Vuitton seeks a Retail Performance Director in New York to lead retail analytics, FTE planning and operational efficiency for the Americas.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for retail analytics, producing a 360° view with actionable plans to support brand priorities at store, regional and country levels.
  • Monitor sales performance, retail KPIs, non‑selling activities, team structures and FTE; identify and implement solutions to improve productivity and sales.
  • Support RVP/Country Manager in setting annual retail goals, bonus targets and monitor progress; assist Store and Team Managers in cascading objectives using company tools.
  • Design, build and maintain BI reporting to simplify store and regional performance monitoring and support data‑driven decision making.
  • Manage controllables budget with finance by store/region/country, track actuals and reallocate funds where required.
  • Drive optimal scheduling and workforce planning (match to traffic, Workforce Management), leading FTE planning sessions with HR and regional management.
  • Lead and coordinate roll‑out, updates and training for the UKG Scheduling Tool and other operational platforms.
  • Oversee retail projects including uniforms/hot stamps procurement and distribution, new store openings/relocations and peak‑season processes, collaborating with store planning, merchandising and finance.
  • Partner with Retail Learning to identify capability gaps and implement training to elevate in‑store client experience.
  • Animate, coach and advise the Retail Directors community to ensure localised action plans are implemented, adapted and followed through.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in multi‑unit retail operations, analytics or commercial planning, preferably within luxury retail.
  • Proven leadership experience in coaching and developing managers across multiple locations with the ability to inspire change and accountability.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability with experience building or managing BI reporting and performance dashboards.
  • Robust commercial acumen including budget ownership, FTE planning and bonus/commission scheme collaboration with HR and Finance.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with experience deploying operational tools and running cross‑functional initiatives.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 170,000 to USD 215,000 per annum.
