Louis Vuitton Paris: Retail Merchandiser for Women's Footwear driving category strategy, assortment optimization, and regional collaboration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build and optimize assortment recommendations aligned with commercial priorities and seasonal editings
- Analyze category performance (revenue, sell-through, stock) and identify acceleration levers and business risks
- Monitor time-to-market coordination with supply chain, manufacturing, and regional zones
- Serve as interface between Central and regional zones to collect, structure, and share qualitative zone feedback for collection merchandising guidance
- Develop and ensure consistency of purchasing support materials (model books, benchmarks, assortments, forecasts)
- Provide operational support during seasonal showrooms for regional zones, including merchandise offerings, purchasing recommendations, and assortment arbitrage
- Ensure alignment between category strategy and market selections
- Update purchasing tools such as launch plans and product roadmaps
- Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to define and deploy category guidelines where applicable
- Contribute to digital activation and retail initiatives across brands
- Escalate regional requirements and insights to Central stakeholders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree from a business school or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 8 years of merchandising experience, ideally with Central buying office exposure
- Deep knowledge of footwear markets, assortment strategies, and luxury competitive landscape
- Strong product sensibility and refined understanding of luxury footwear aesthetics and functionality
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with demonstrated analytical project experience
- Fluency in English (essential); French proficiency highly desirable
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and relationship management skills
