Louis Vuitton hiring Retail Learning Manager in London. Lead training, coaching, and talent development across luxury retail stores.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a culture of in-store coaching with all in-store roles from Client Advisors to Managers according to their needs
- Support the Retail Management team in building individual coaching plans tailored to their team
- Provide ongoing feedback to key stakeholders on progress and priorities for allocated stores
- Identify skills gaps and adapt training to address training priorities
- Ensure consistent feedback and guidance for the management population, effectively influencing on people management topics
- Identify and propose talents for learning offers including Academies and EMEA workshops
- In collaboration with Merchandising, Clienteling, Retail Excellence, Supply Chain and HR, ideate, develop and facilitate core trainings including inductions, academies, product retrainings, floor management workshops and selling skills
- Maintain an active shop floor presence to observe and feed-forward subsequent implementation with the team
- Identify potential training talent within the store to develop and partner in coaching others
- In partnership with Store Management, define the learning calendar for stores best addressing business needs and key priorities
- Ensure timely coordination of training programmes and active communication to relevant teams
- Leverage role play and on-the-floor coaching to enhance Client Experience
- Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback on training initiatives and identify ways to embed the learning
- Involve in partnering and facilitating EMEA learning projects with other learning teams
- Manage and monitor the quality and impact of all in-store training via follow-up
- Manage the in-store Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring all training is recorded and that Store Management are proficient in this tool
- Ensure consistent pre-onboarding and onboarding for all new starters in collaboration with Managers
- Liaise with HR and Team Managers to ensure proactive planning for new employees
- Work alongside Team and Store Managers to build an onboarding programme rolled out across various roles
- Lead by example and act as a trusted confidant to the store
- Act as a platform for sharing of experience and best practices among stores on coaching initiatives and programmes
- Travel as required and maintain frequent in-store presence
- Facilitate the Louis Vuitton Induction Programme regularly
- Closely collaborate with EMEA and Central Learning teams to align on the learning vision and delivery for the region
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail training, Learning & Development (L&D), or store management within the luxury retail or fashion sector
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing end-to-end onboarding programs, retail academies, and talent development pathways
- Experience implementing Client Experience (CX) initiatives and measuring their commercial impact
- Hands-on experience utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and generating actionable training reports for senior leadership
