Louis Vuitton seeks a Retail Learning Manager (maternity cover) in Geneva to lead training across Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the regional retail learning strategy for Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania, translating corporate initiatives into operational roll‑out plans.
- Manage and coach a small team of field coach trainers; define priorities, monitor quality and measure training impact.
- Partner with Retail Management, HR and cross‑functional stakeholders (Merchandising, Clienteling, Retail Performance, Operations, Finance) to design and deliver core programmes: inductions, product retraining, selling skills, client experience and clienteling workshops.
- Embed a culture of on‑the‑floor coaching through active observation, role play and structured feedback to improve selling performance and client experience.
- Own onboarding and pre‑boarding for new hires; collaborate with managers to build scalable tutor‑store programmes and annual learning roadmaps.
- Operate and govern the in‑store LMS and local learning tracker, ensuring accurate recording and stakeholder proficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in luxury retail, learning & development, or store management with demonstrated impact on store performance.
- Proven experience managing trainers or field coaching teams and influencing stakeholders at store and regional level.
- Fluent English required; French or German strongly preferred.
- Excellent facilitation skills with a track record delivering classroom and on‑the‑job training (role play, coaching, workshops).
- Strong analytical capability to monitor training quality and translate qualitative/quantitative feedback into scalable initiatives.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the assigned countries.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant retail experience, including substantial exposure to learning & development, field coaching or store management and experience leading or managing a team of trainers in a multi‑country retail environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, education or equivalent professional experience preferred.
