Louis Vuitton — Paris: Retail Human Resources Manager. Senior HR Business Partner role supporting a portfolio of Louis Vuitton stores in France.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the HR business partner for a portfolio of Louis Vuitton stores in France, reporting to the HR Director France & Monaco and ensuring HR strategy alignment with market and Maison priorities.
- Lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition for the store network, including peak‑season hiring and recruitment events, ensuring ethical processes, timely delivery and optimal staffing across stores.
- Define and recommend target organisational structures and workforce plans in collaboration with store management and central recruitment teams.
- Design and deploy learning and development programmes: identify training needs, build the annual training plan and monitor implementation throughout the year.
- Design and run the annual talent review and succession planning cycle for the provincial perimeter (OMR), identifying high potentials and supporting career pathways.
- Maintain constructive social relations within the perimeter by engaging with employee representatives, coordinating with the Social Development unit and supporting store leadership.
- Manage disciplinary processes in partnership with store directors and ensure compliant, consistent application of procedures.
- Own compensation exercises for the perimeter, including annual salary reviews (ICR), and ensure pay coherence across the store network.
- Coordinate HR budgeting and headcount forecasting with Finance and central teams (rolling forecast) and deliver accurate HR reporting.
- Line manage an HR team of one to three professionals, fostering alignment, performance and professional development.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, business administration or equivalent; HR generalist or specialist education preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrable responsibility in a retail or multi‑site environment.
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent review, succession planning and compensation processes.
- Strong knowledge of French employment law and experience managing employee relations and disciplinary procedures.
- Demonstrated people management experience, including coaching and developing a small HR team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical capacity and high emotional intelligence.
- Fluent English.
Skills
Experience
At least 10 years of progressive human resources experience with significant exposure to retail or multi‑site operations, including hands‑on recruitment, employee relations, compensation cycles and talent development. Prior experience as an HR business partner supporting store management is highly desirable.
Education
Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent (specialisation in HR preferred).
