Louis Vuitton in Ho Chi Minh City seeks a Retail & Merchandising Operations Assistant Manager to drive retail execution, stock management and reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and communicate retail operational policies, SOPs and internal controls; ensure consistent application across stores.
- Conduct regular store visits to audit compliance with operational standards and internal controls, and to coach store teams.
- Partner with country leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify retail opportunities and deploy practical solutions, including client experience initiatives.
- Coordinate merchandising activities: provide local market insights, monitor stock levels (especially for launches), and act as the executional bridge between stores and zone merchandising.
- Manage launch logistics by collaborating with zone merchandising, supply chain and in‑store visual merchandising to maximise launch impact and retail animations.
- Collect, analyse and interpret sales, inventory and performance metrics; develop and maintain reports, dashboards and presentations for stakeholders.
- Deliver ad hoc analyses and support change management and process improvement initiatives to drive retail excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in retail or the luxury industry, with exposure to retail operations and merchandising coordination.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong capability in preparing dashboards and presentations.
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, proactive problem‑solving and a results‑driven attitude.
