Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and manage the regional retail learning strategy for the Midwest and Mid‑Atlantic territories, aligning programs with business objectives.
- Create and deliver in‑store and regional induction programs, training modules and individual development plans tailored to store needs.
- Conduct observation‑based coaching and skills reinforcement to ensure applied selling skills and an elevated client experience.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and on‑the‑job coaching to store and team managers to develop leadership capabilities and behavioural change.
- Assess learning needs, measure program effectiveness through relevant KPIs, and iterate content and delivery methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with regional leadership, HR and cross‑functional partners to deploy programmes, manage schedules and ensure consistency across stores.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with a significant portion in retail learning & development or people development roles.
- Proven experience coaching and influencing frontline teams and store managers in a client‑centric, fast‑paced retail environment—luxury retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver workshops, curricula and individual learning paths.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive behavioural change.
- Willingness and ability to work on‑site with regular regional travel between stores and markets as required.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in retail learning, talent development or people management, ideally including regional programme delivery and frontline coaching within luxury or high‑end retail.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development or a related discipline preferred.
