Role & Responsibilities
- Drive regional execution of product launches and merchandising initiatives, ensuring consistent in-store implementation across all stores in the Northeast region.
- Develop targets and actionable plans with Regional VP and store leadership; analyze sales by region, store, gender and category and implement corrective actions to achieve objectives.
- Lead cross-functional project management for merchandise initiatives: manage calendars, coordinate partners, monitor milestones and report financial and qualitative outcomes.
- Conduct regular store visits to review business performance, VM standards, stock allocation and clienteling; deliver product trainings and empower store teams to be self-sufficient business drivers.
- Act as the primary liaison between corporate merchandising and stores — provide market feedback, competitive intelligence and tailored communications to drive continuous improvement.
- Support peak selling periods, trunk shows and special events; elevate supply chain and stock-level opportunities to optimize store availability.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of merchandising experience in retail, with demonstrable responsibility for product launches and store-level execution.
- Proven experience in luxury or premium fashion retail preferred, with strong commercial acumen and ability to translate corporate priorities into store action.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on launch timelines and targets.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and define results-oriented action plans.
- Strong coaching, presentation and training skills; experienced in leading store workshops and product trainings.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the region and to participate in visits with corporate and Paris-based partners.
Experience
Minimum 5 years in retail merchandising or related commercial roles, ideally within luxury fashion; experience leading regional initiatives, product launches and cross-functional projects is preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, Fashion or equivalent experience.
