Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead in-store product launches and initiatives, ensuring consistent execution across all regional locations through regular store visits and team training
  • Set category-level targets in coordination with Regional Vice President and store teams, developing and implementing strategies to drive performance against objectives
  • Analyze regional and store-level sales data by category, identifying underperforming areas and proactively developing action plans to address performance gaps
  • Manage the calendar of product initiatives and launches, communicating timelines and requirements to regional stakeholders sufficiently in advance for proper execution
  • Serve as subject matter expert on luxury market trends and competitive landscape, providing market intelligence and client feedback to corporate merchandising team
  • Conduct store visits with corporate and Paris partners, reviewing business performance, visual merchandising, stock levels, training, and clienteling capabilities
  • Bubble up recurring themes, issues, and market opportunities to corporate merchandising, driving continuous improvement in store support and streamlined operations
  • Deliver financial results reporting and qualitative feedback during and after product initiatives conclude
  • Engage in showroom activities and buying sessions, providing timely client and store feedback to corporate merchandising
  • Participate in Retail Summits, partnering on content and animation while driving implementation of insights and learnings across stores

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury merchandising, retail management, or product strategy
  • Demonstrable expertise in luxury product knowledge and competitive landscape analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions, formulas, macros, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint including animations, advanced formatting, and design
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience managing complex initiatives across multiple store locations and regional teams
  • Proven self-starter mentality with ability to take ownership and demonstrate accountability

Experience
