Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, adapt and deliver theoretical and hands‑on training programmes for warehouse storekeepers and quality controllers, including onboarding and refresher modules.
  • Assess trainee competence through tests, on‑site observations and simulated inspections; implement individual development plans and follow‑up.
  • Conduct regular audits of Quality Control processes, analyse QC data and monitor quality KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead corrective and preventive actions, manage non‑conformities and coordinate escalation and resolution with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage incoming inspection procedures for complex materials, including occasional leather sorting and article control, and animate the master quality control system.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation (procedures, instructions, forms) and ensure compliance with the Quality System and applicable standards.
  • Calibrate and manage measuring and control equipment and supervise the transversal calibration of HUB controllers.
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety and ergonomics through awareness events, communications and facilitation of cross‑functional workshops.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' professional experience in quality assurance or quality control within leather goods, textiles or manufacturing/warehouse environments.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and delivering adult learning programmes and on‑the‑job training for operational teams.
  • Strong knowledge of quality methodologies (analysis, root‑cause problem‑solving, continuous improvement) and experience managing non‑conformities and supplier quality issues.
  • Proven ability to facilitate cross‑functional resolution meetings and manage complex alert projects with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assertiveness, rigour and the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining methodical documentation and follow‑through.

Experience
