Louis Vuitton seeks a Quality Control Inspector for Finished Products in Buscate, Italy. Manage RTW quality assurance across production sites with 5+ years of experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage finished product quality control at assembly sites during production line operations and final assembly phases
- Ensure adherence to the Maison's quality standards during finished product inspection and assembly protocols
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize problem resolution and quality outcomes
- Refine processes in alignment with delivery timelines and production objectives
- Establish weekly quality control priorities and provide real-time quality alerts with briefings on current status and recommended solutions
- Participate in defect review meetings, technical audits, capacity assessments, and showroom evaluations
- Attend network feedback sessions and KPI review meetings facilitated by Quality Management leadership
- Optimize prioritization tools, quality control reporting systems, and quality KPI metrics
- Conduct pre-series and technical data sheet (TDS) inspections to expedite finished product release or shipment
- Verify implementation of corrective actions and provide coaching and follow-up support at production sites as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in industrial, manufacturing, or quality control environments for ready-to-wear production
- Demonstrated knowledge of production site operations and workflows
- Technical proficiency in fabric properties, cutting techniques, assembly methods, production flows, fabric treatments, and finished product evaluation
- Comprehensive understanding of luxury product quality grades and sensitivity to customer expectations regarding finished goods quality
- Strong autonomy and sound decision-making capability aligned with the Maison's objectives
- Proactive mindset with demonstrated ability to identify and propose solutions to quality challenges
- Fluency in Italian; knowledge of French or English considered advantageous
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial production, manufacturing operations, or quality control for ready-to-wear apparel. Proven familiarity with external production site operations and an established track record of managing quality standards in luxury goods manufacturing environments.
Education
Technical or specialized education in quality management, textile technology, garment production, or equivalent professional certification in industrial quality control.
Workplace
