Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the local point of contact for manufacturing quality across the leather-goods atelier, reporting to the Quality Manager.
  • Draft and deploy control plans, self-check sheets and workstation best-practice instructions in coordination with impacted teams; ensure implementation via visual management, training and audits.
  • Prepare and verify calibration documentation and defect libraries (défauthèque).
  • Conduct regular quality audits on production lines and coordinate corrective actions for detected non-conformities.
  • Contribute to the deployment of the quality roadmap and performance objectives; participate in quality line animation (quality meetings, quality days).
  • Propose operational quality decisions (derogation, repair, reject) and ensure application; escalate to quality engineers when required.
  • Train and supervise leatherworkers performing internal controls and follow-up on their competency development.
  • Communicate routine control results and recurring issues from network returns; coordinate resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support incoming quality alerts from production or distribution with communication, containment and associated action plans.
  • Participate actively in product industrialization: verify conformity to design guides and Louis Vuitton leather-goods quality requirements; animate risk assessment during process qualification and supervise Go/Prod/Proto controls.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or holding a degree in industrial production, quality engineering or a Master in Quality Management (apprenticeship candidature).
  • Familiarity with industrial quality methods and tools; basic knowledge of calibration and defect classification.
  • Capacity to draft clear control documents and perform audits.
  • Strong organisational skills, rigor and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and training skills; ability to supervise and coach production staff.
  • Practical interest in hands-on, shop-floor environments and continuous improvement.
