Louis Vuitton — Paris: Purchasing Intern (Exotic Leathers) supporting procurement data, supplier coordination and reporting for the Exotic Leather buying team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure integrity and reliability of purchasing data for new product projects, including coding, supplier assignment and price entry.
- Integrate purchasing and logistics data into the division’s information systems and maintain accurate master data.
- Develop and operate the weekly "Newness" reporting dashboard; produce and distribute performance reporting to stakeholders.
- Coordinate weekly performance actions and centralise product development schedules across the Exotic Leather perimeter.
- Manage supplier relations for data collection and follow-up, ensure availability of placement files and monitor deliverables.
- Monitor capacity and workload for transformation projects, track timelines and escalate risks or delays as required.
- Procure project-specific items for certain women's product activations and contribute to purchasing decisions.
- Support strategic workstreams such as Business Continuity Plan analysis and the replacement program for linings (goat to calf leather).
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a business school, engineering school or equivalent higher education program.
- Fluent in English (required); proficiency in Italian is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA and hands-on experience in Power BI.
- Strong analytical curiosity, agility, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- First experience in raw-material purchasing or an industrial production environment is desirable.
- Available to start immediately and able to work on-site in Paris.
