Louis Vuitton — Apprenticeship Purchasing & Production Assistant (Press) in Paris 1er. Start Sept 2026; work-study 4 days in-company, 1 day at school.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and transmit raw-material purchase orders to suppliers for press production according to PLM requirements.
- Monitor inbound deliveries of materials; chase suppliers and escalate delays proactively.
- Coordinate logistics with carriers to ensure timely shipments to ateliers and external manufacturers.
- Manage reception issues at subcontractors and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee the production and delivery tracking of press repetitions (finished samples/replicas).
- Inform Marketing of any delivery delays by updating information systems and coordinating delivery priorities with the technical office and purchasing teams.
- Enter pricing for press repetitions into PLM and maintain accurate cost records.
- Prepare and maintain fabric master binders for the Purchasing team.
- Support tracking and follow-up of component requests for After-Sales Service (SAV).
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a business school, fashion school or equivalent university programme (Bachelor/Master track).
- Fluent English (mandatory); Italian is a plus.
- Excellent command of PLM systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- High level of rigor, organisational skill and ability to prioritise under pressure.
- Autonomous, reactive and adaptable with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
