Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee prototype development and delivery in accordance with deadlines, quality criteria, industrial feasibility, and target margins
  • Coordinate development, sourcing, and prototyping teams across workshop sites to achieve project objectives
  • Manage project timeline from design brief through style approval, including design briefings, product nomenclature creation, and material research
  • Source and procure materials required for prototype development
  • Launch prototypes and prepare costing analyses in collaboration with the economic performance manager
  • Generate prototype reports and facilitate style validation sign-off
  • Conduct regular project reviews with stakeholders to maintain alignment across teams
  • Identify compromises between design intent, industrial feasibility, and margins; escalate blockers requiring arbitration
  • Lead weekly rigid hub briefings to communicate prototyping alerts and updates
  • Contribute to process and tool improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a business, engineering, or equivalent program
  • Proficiency with Excel and/or Power BI
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
