Louis Vuitton hiring Production Team Leader, Cutting in Sarras, France – manage leather cutting operations and lead artisan teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 15–20 leather craftspeople on a day-to-day basis, driving production results while fostering versatility and operational flexibility
- Maintain a healthy, productive team environment and respond effectively to team members' professional needs and expectations
- Ensure performance, quality, quantity, on-time delivery, and safety standards across all production lines under direct responsibility
- Support the development and industrialization of new products within the cutting department
- Oversee a portfolio of approximately 100 leather references, balancing material optimization with quality preservation across the production workflow
- Liaise with incoming quality control and facilitate supplier engagement on-site for material assessment and position alignment
- Develop technical competency in Comelz cutting machinery operation and maintenance
- Take initiative on exploratory projects related to workshop development and optimization
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of production team management experience in an industrial setting
- Proven track record in leading production teams toward performance and quality targets
- Technical aptitude and willingness to master cutting machinery systems
- Strong project management capabilities with collaborative mindset

Experience
Minimum 3 years of production team management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably within luxury goods production or leather goods manufacturing.
Education
Engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related technical or management discipline.
