Louis Vuitton — Production Planning Intern (6-month internship) in Ducey, Normandy. Support production scheduling, order launches and KPI monitoring on-site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Animate kick-off meetings with the procurement team to validate short-term production schedules and address operational constraints.
- Support the launch of manufacturing orders and ensure their correct initiation in the production system.
- Monitor order execution using operational indicators (production hours, reliability, inventory) and maintain a regular presence on the workshop floor.
- Lead daily coordination points with stakeholders across the workshop’s supply chain to resolve issues and maintain flow.
- Propose and implement corrective actions to improve KPI performance and production reliability.
- Provide support to the team in enhancing and streamlining planning and shop-floor tools.
- Document and optimise operational processes and standard operating procedures.
- Actively contribute to change management activities associated with new projects and specific product introductions, including managing related material provisioning.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bac+4/5 (Master’s-level) program in industrial production management, supply chain, operations management or equivalent.
- Demonstrated interest in an industrial/manufacturing environment with willingness to work on the workshop floor.
- Strong organisational rigour, attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to synthesize operational data and translate findings into pragmatic corrective actions.
