The Production Planning Intern supports short- and medium-term production plan execution within the Supply Chain Planning team at Louis Vuitton’s Leather Accessories Atelier, helping ensure products are manufactured as planned, resources are optimized and issues are resolved to meet performance targets and new-product launch dates. The internship lasts at least 6 months and offers flexible scheduling around studies.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and release manufacturing orders daily.
- Manage work in progress at the plant by reviewing assembly loops and the age of manufacturing orders.
- Track production team movements to align with the schedule set by the master planner.
- Monitor and drive production-line performance and reliability-rate indicators.
- Work with the Logistics and Technical Office departments to resolve production issues.
- Track product launches to ensure new products are ready.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree or master’s in industrial engineering or an equivalent field.
- Available to complete an internship lasting at least 6 months.
