Role & Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the medium‑ and long‑term production plan and weekly scheduling aligned with company objectives.
• Manage work orders across all phases — release, progress tracking, completion and reporting — for both in‑house production and external suppliers.
• Continuously monitor production progress, update priorities and timelines, and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
• Liaise with technical offices, project leads and corporate HQ to coordinate launches and monitor the development status of new products.
• Investigate deviations, escalate issues to relevant stakeholders and propose corrective actions to secure production targets.
• Monitor material stock at supplier sites and perform inventory valuation and cycle‑count controls.
• Prepare periodic statistical reports and KPIs to support management control and the supply chain function.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in production planning within structured manufacturing environments; prior experience in leather goods manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Diploma or degree in an economics or technical discipline.
• Advanced experience with MRP processes through an ERP (SAP preferred) and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Good command of English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem‑solving capabilities, with strong interpersonal and cross‑functional communication skills.
• Proactivity and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders (HQ, internal functions, suppliers).

Experience

At least 5 years in production planning for highly structured industrial or manufacturing companies; experience in the leather goods sector is a distinct advantage.

Education

Diploma and/or degree in economics or a technical field.
