Louis Vuitton seeks a Production Artisan for its Texas workshop in Alvarado, making luxury handbags and small leather goods. The permanent, full-time, on-site role supports production across departments, quality and safety objectives, continuous improvement, and new product development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute safely to the manufacture of high-quality luxury handbags and small leather goods.
- Meet safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity objectives while keeping the work area and workshop clean and organized.
- Develop skills to work across production departments, including assembly, preparation, and cutting.
- Identify improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with other departments on new product development.
- Manage time punctually and in an organized manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
- Work the workshop’s desirable schedule, supporting work-life balance.
Qualifications
- Work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Follow detailed instructions and processes.
- Knowledge of sewing leather or canvas is a plus but is not required; comprehensive training is provided.
- Fluency in English and/or Spanish, with the ability to read and write either language.
- Ability to operate equipment and manual tools.
- Manual dexterity and coordination to grasp and manipulate objects.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
