Role & Responsibilities
- Manufacture high‑quality luxury handbags and small leather goods in accordance with approved specifications, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Meet performance targets for safety, quality, efficiency and productivity while maintaining a clean, organized workshop and workstation.
- Rotate across production departments (assembly, preparation, cutting) as required and develop multi‑functional skills through on‑the‑job training.
- Identify and propose continuous improvement opportunities; participate in improvement projects to increase productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during development of new products and prototypes.
- Adhere to scheduled hours and be punctual; perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions, standardized processes and work orders.
- Team‑oriented disposition with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluency in English and/or Spanish with the ability to read and write in at least one of these languages.
- Manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination; ability to operate basic equipment and manual tools safely.
- Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.
- Prior experience with sewing leather or canvas is advantageous but not required; comprehensive training provided.
