Louis Vuitton Product Visual Merchandiser role in Tokyo, Japan. Lead visual presentations, manage store displays, and train retail teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize zoning plans and monthly product rotations within assigned stores to maximize visual impact and sales performance
- Conduct regular store visits to provide on-the-job training and guidance to in-store visual merchandising staff, ensuring adherence to brand standards
- Maintain proactive daily communication with Store Managers to align visual merchandising strategies with business objectives
- Oversee visual merchandising execution for new store openings and renovations, collaborating with Regional Team, Store Managers, and VM teams
- Provide category-specific visual direction tailored to the Japan market, aligning with overall merchandising strategies
- Manage the visual execution of new product launches within assigned categories in partnership with category merchandisers
- Lead or support the installation of impactful window displays and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and promotional campaigns
- Support special events, pop-up installations, and visual presentations to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fine Arts, or related field (highly preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in visual merchandising, with preference for luxury retail industry background
- Demonstrated artistic and creative abilities with strong attention to detail and sophisticated aesthetic sensibility
- Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficiency in Japanese language (mandatory)
- Business English fluency (preferred)

Experience
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in visual merchandising is essential, with preference for experience within the luxury retail sector. Demonstrated success in executing complex visual presentations, managing retail environments, and training in-store teams to maintain visual excellence standards is required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is highly preferred.
